how to prepare for the holiness season (to be continued...)

Welcome to the Holiness Season. It starts on October 31st, and it ends on January 23rd. But why do we need a calendar? The answer is: you don't. But it is well to keep you organized. It will keep you busier than usual, to say the least, and that’s not a good thing in itself, so we need to pick a season to do this.

We need celebrations because they keep our minds focused, running like a clock. We need to understand the meaning of those celebrations to us in particular. We need to be aware of the time we still have at our disposal to make things happen to our own convenience & in alignment with our aspirations and dreams.

These are the 5 dates that I celebrate:

  1. Halloween 🧿
  2. Black Friday
  3. Christmas
  4. New Year
  5. My birthday (January 23rd)

Holiness Season is that time to make it happen and to dedicate yourself to God with all your heart & soul. There's nothing wrong with that. It gives us an opportunity to grow together in Christ. It might help us count our days more often (Psalms 90:12).

BECOME A PLANNER-DRIVEN PERSON

When you're feeling down, this is all you have. Take your time. Breathe. Relax. But do what you intended to do, or else you'll be feeling more down & start a vicious circle.

WORKOUT DAILY

This is a requirement for magicians (I'm sorry to tell you). Your body is important as a means to an end. Remember, you are the Holy Spirit's wand. You cannot neglect your physical aptitudes. It's just how it is.

ORGANIZE + MOBILIZE

Tip number three is very special to me 'cause I've been doing it for a while. We cannot expect to live a fulfilling life without taking the 'dirt' out of the way. Think about it first thing... as soon as you wake up. Then, move on to the other things (mobilize).

6 pm curfew

I have a 'breakable' rule that I've kept quiet about, even from people within my family circle. I always try to complete all of my tasks by 6 pm each day. This gives me more time to spend with my family: the ones I love. It gives me a better sense of balance when facing daily challenges. It helps me realize that I'm not that strong or powerful. I become more spiritual & prone to reflection. It's good for my mental health. A perfect time to read the Bible. An exercise for the brain. A moment to finally feel well connected... like, spiritually in the vine. We need to eat the bread & drink the wine. We need to feel like we are normal people. We need to be able to feel connected, for the sake of our balance & peace of mind. I wrote a song about it. I hope you'll enjoy it someday.

We feel so disconnected from time to time. It kind of makes me think that human beings have not evolved at all. Technology has evolved. The way our brains are wired (our psique) has not evolved. We need to give our original personalities some room to grow as well. So, give this new 'rule' a try for at least one week and tell me how this has improved your life or your state of mind throughout the week. Do it as an exercise for your brain. Give yourself a chance to believe again. You might need to push it a little bit. After that, talk to this NEW YOU that is bursting to come out in full bloom. Good luck to you on your journey to Heaven.

10 relationship questions you need to answer right away

Questions that will determine what you want for your life & the answers to all of your problems from now on. Questions that will shape the direction of your relationships and help them naturally align with your deepest desires and dreams for your life. Here’s a tip: don’t micromanage. Simply keep your answers in mind and completely brainstorm the whole thing. Just “remove the scales from your own eyes” (Acts of the Apostles 9:18) and force yourself to see what you’re not willing to see. Keep them in mind and don’t be afraid to review your answers from time to time.

It is a tough exercise, I know. All I want is for you to think back to when the year was just beginning so that this can help you reimagine the new year as it approaches. You don’t have to clear your mind. You don’t have to forget the past. You don’t have to pretend to be something you’re not. Just learn to forgive yourself & pick up from where you left off. Pick up the pieces from the previous year and try to come up with something new & exciting. Try not to make bullet point. Just talk to yourself right now & be ready for a new beginning. All I want you to be very honest with yourself and remember that no one else is watching. This exercise  is between you, the Lord Jesus Christ & the Holy Spirit that lives in you!

These questions interfere directly with your relationship with God. I believe these are the most important questions that we need to answer:

  1. Have I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior? Am I a born-again Christian? Have I received the Holy Ghost in my spirit? Am I gonna let it rule my life for good? && Romans 10:8-15
  2. How's my relationship with my family and close relatives? Do I help them in any way & make sure they're all financially supported? Do I care about their health in any way? && 1 Timothy 5:8
  3. Do I support and look after those who are struggling with poverty or in need? Do I make sure they can provide for themselves? && Proverbs 19:17
  4. Have I been loving my neighbors as I love myself? These are all of the people who could possibly or may ever be living within the same realm of influence as you are, be it for good or bad. Do I catch them if they fall or make them sink lower? Do I rejoice in their mischiefs and gloat over their mistakes? How’s that so? && Matthew 22:37-40
  5. Am I preaching the Gospel of the Lord the way God intended us to do? Am I taking responsibility for my part in the Great Commission? How would I serve the Lord better? What does He really want from me? && Mark 16:15-20
  6. Should I allow someone to hurt me, knowing that God has a plan for me & wants me to do better? How can I protect myself from toxic relationships? How can I protect my family or my future family? How can I bless people without letting them come in the way of my true purpose in Jesus Christ? Am I God's servant or the God himself? && 1 Corinthians 5:9-13
  7. Do I treat people in general as I would want to be treated? Am I a polite person or a rude person? Do I do it on purpose or out of spite? Do I care about people at all? Do I think I'm better than everyone else? && Luke 6:27-38
  8. How do I treat the authorities of my people that God has predetermined to rule over my city, state, or country? Do I make them feel bad, or do I pray for them? && Exodus 22:28
  9. How do I treat the elderly? Do I give them a hard time? And what about women & widowers? && 1 Timothy 5:1-8
  10. Am I like Enoch, who was ever so close to God, and am I close enough to make God actually want to take me before my time is done for loving me so much? Do I walk with God? Would I have the courage to do so? Do I care about that at all? How do I live before my time is done? Do I love God? Do I care about godly things at all? Do I ever ask God to change my heart at all? Do I think of God as my servant or as someone who wants to have a relationship with me? && Genesis 5:18-24

We have to remember that it is impossible to love someone who is invisible if we don’t care enough about the ones we see and meet in our everyday lives (1 John 4:20). This will help lift many of the barriers and blind spots or “scales” we do so often fear. It isn't fun to look inside yourself but Paul - the Apostle - was forced to do so by God himself. It made him famous. You know how much you hate those famous people. But then again, this exercise is about you sweetheart. So come down from your pedestal. Get your life on track. Get your mind right. We're all in this together. 🙏

Please don't think that you have to lift up a mountain of karma from now on (it doesn't work that way), and I'm sorry if I made you feel like you are stuck in time, like Peter, who all of a sudden just had to go fishing (that was his scape from the world). You have to humble yourself right here. We all need to understand that we can do nothing unless God is in the mix all the way through. He needs to interfere or else we cannot change. Do you know that depressive song that says, "Lord knows, I can't change"? It is exactly the opposite: He knows that we can, and wants to help us. What the songwriter really means is that he doesn't care about the woman enough to make him wanna change at all. He needs to be free. If you don't wanna change for silly old me, I think it's fine. Change for your relationship with Jesus. He said, "You will be my friend if you keep my commandments" (John 15:14-17). You can't tell Him not to change you. And change for yourself while you're at it. This is a two-lane street. Please, don't let me change you. I can't do it right. I gotta pray too.🙏

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vineyard keeper. He removes any of my branches that don’t produce fruit, and he trims any branch that produces fruit so that it will produce even more fruit. You are already trimmed because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. A branch can’t produce fruit by itself, but must remain in the vine. Likewise, you can’t produce fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, then you will produce much fruit. Without me, you can’t do anything. ' - John 15:1-5

You just need to pray more about stuff & really consecrate. Like, really keep it together. I will show you how & then you let it happen naturally. God is good. These are some of my favorite parts of the Bible...

'God is the one who enables you both to want and to actually live out his good purposes. ' - Philippians 2:13
“Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Whoever seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door is opened. Who among you will give your children a stone when they ask for bread? Or give them a snake when they ask for fish? If you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him. Therefore, you should treat people in the same way that you want people to treat you; this is the Law and the Prophets. ' - Matthew 7:7-12
'Later, Jesus himself appeared again to his disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. This is how it happened: Simon Peter, Thomas, Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, Zebedee’s sons, and two other disciples were together. Simon Peter told them, “I’m going fishing. They said, “We’ll go with you.” They set out in a boat, but throughout the night they caught nothing. Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples didn’t realize it was Jesus. Jesus called to them, “Children, have you caught anything to eat? They answered him, “No.” He said, “Cast your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some. So they did, and there were so many fish that they couldn’t haul in the net. Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around himself (for he was naked) and jumped into the water. The other disciples followed in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they weren’t far from shore, only about one hundred yards. When they landed, they saw a fire there, with fish on it, and some bread. Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you’ve just caught.Simon Peter got up and pulled the net to shore. It was full of large fish, one hundred fifty-three of them. Yet the net hadn’t torn, even with so many fish. Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples could bring themselves to ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came, took the bread, and gave it to them. He did the same with the fish. This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead. When they finished eating, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these? Simon replied, “Yes, Lord, you know I love you. Jesus said to him, “Feed my lambs.Jesus asked a second time, “Simon son of John, do you love me? Simon replied, “Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Take care of my sheep. He asked a third time, “Simon son of John, do you love me? Peter was sad that Jesus asked him a third time, “Do you love me?” He replied, “Lord, you know everything; you know I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep. I assure you that when you were younger you tied your own belt and walked around wherever you wanted. When you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and another will tie your belt and lead you where you don’t want to go.He said this to show the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. After saying this, Jesus said to Peter, “Follow me. ' - John 21:1-19

Christ said, "Follow me". It is the intent that counts more than anything. He'll always want you back. I wrote a number of prayers that you can think of whenever you're feeling down. Whenever you feel sad or blue, turn to the Lord in prayer right away. Stop wasting time talking to people who don’t have any power to change your situation & can’t get their own ‘house’ in order. Only you have the power of initiative & willpower to begin your process of setting yourself free of addiction or any other type of unfortunate thing that you don’t want for yourself anymore. A lot can be said about it, but this is your burden to carry, and nobody can take that away from you. Only God knows your heart in the deepest core. He sees you & wants you like nobody else, but you must begin. You must try and never give up. You’ll soon find out that no one can separate us from the love of God. Your enemies can try, but they will never succeed. No Angels  or Demons could ever separate us from the love of God, because you want Him. This is your journey. It’s not about who’s better or worse. It’s about God’s forgiveness and love towards each and every one of us individually. You’d have to be a very spiritually mature person in order to perceive this, but you don’t have to deny God to make anyone feel better about themselves. We are all saved by grace. End of story: ⬇️

STEP INTO THE LIGHT. YOUR TIME IS NOW. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO SEPARATE YOU FROM YOUR GOD (WHICH IS THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE). SAVE YOURSELF & THINK OF NO ONE ELSE. FORGET JUDGMENTAL PEOPLE FOREVER & EVER, NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY CURSE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. IF YOU EVER GET ACCUSED OF BEING A LOSER, JUST REMEMBER WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT YOU, AND YOU'LL BE FINE. YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO HOPE FOR. YOU HAVE GREAT EXPECTATIONS.

'So what are we going to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He didn’t spare his own Son but gave him up for us all. Won’t he also freely give us all things with him? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect people? It is God who acquits them. Who is going to convict them? It is Christ Jesus who died, even more, who was raised, and who also is at God’s right side. It is Christ Jesus who also pleads our case for us. Who will separate us from Christ’s love? Will we be separated by trouble, or distress, or harassment, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “ We are being put to death all day long for your sake. ” “ We are treated like sheep for slaughter. ” But in all these things we win a sweeping victory through the one who loved us. I’m convinced that nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ Jesus our Lord: not death or life, not angels or rulers, not present things or future things, not powers or height or depth, or any other thing that is created.' - Romans 8:31-39

'God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won’t perish but will have eternal life. God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him isn’t judged; whoever doesn’t believe in him is already judged, because they don’t believe in the name of God’s only Son. “ This is the basis for judgment: The light came into the world, and people loved darkness more than the light, for their actions are evil. All who do wicked things hate the light and don’t come to the light for fear that their actions will be exposed to the light. Whoever does the truth comes to the light so that it can be seen that their actions were done in God. ” ' - John 3:16-21

'At one time you were like those persons. All of you used to do whatever felt good and whatever you thought you wanted so that you were children headed for punishment just like everyone else. However, God is rich in mercy. He brought us to life with Christ while we were dead as a result of those things that we did wrong. He did this because of the great love that he has for us. You are saved by God’s grace! However, God is rich in mercy. He brought us to life with Christ while we were dead as a result of those things that we did wrong. He did this because of the great love that he has for us. You are saved by God’s grace! And God raised us up and seated us in the heavens with Christ Jesus. God did this to show future generations the greatness of his grace by the goodness that God has shown us in Christ Jesus. You are saved by God’s grace because of your faith. This salvation is God’s gift. It’s not something you possessed. It’s not something you did that you can be proud of. Instead, we are God’s accomplishment, created in Christ Jesus to do good things. God planned for these good things to be the way that we live our lives. ' - Ephesians 2:3-10

'It is necessary to brag, not that it does any good. I’ll move on to visions and revelations from the Lord. I know a man in Christ who was caught up into the third heaven fourteen years ago. I don’t know whether it was in the body or out of the body. God knows. I know that this man was caught up into paradise and that he heard unspeakable words that were things no one is allowed to repeat. I don’t know whether it was in the body or apart from the body. God knows. I know that this man was caught up into paradise and that he heard unspeakable words that were things no one is allowed to repeat. I don’t know whether it was in the body or apart from the body. God knows. I’ll brag about this man, but I won’t brag about myself, except to brag about my weaknesses. If I did want to brag, I wouldn’t make a fool of myself because I’d tell the truth. I’m holding back from bragging so that no one will give me any more credit than what anyone sees or hears about me. I was given a thorn in my body because of the outstanding revelations I’ve received so that I wouldn’t be conceited. It’s a messenger from Satan sent to torment me so that I wouldn’t be conceited. I pleaded with the Lord three times for it to leave me alone. He said to me, “My grace is enough for you, because power is made perfect in weakness.” So I’ll gladly spend my time bragging about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power can rest on me. Therefore, I’m all right with weaknesses, insults, disasters, harassments, and stressful situations for the sake of Christ, because when I’m weak, then I’m strong. ' - 2 Corinthians 12:1-10

'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.'
