No one needs to be micromanaged. That means treating people with prejudice. People need to know you love them without any strings attached every day, for the rest of their lives.
People don't need to be micromanaged. They need to be respected above all. Don't let anyone push you around all the time. That's unnatural. The only ones who are willing to do that are those in desperate need of attention or those who seek to control you whatever the cost, not improve you. You must never grant their wishes. This will save you & them. The feeling of contentment does come without a small amount of frustration.
'Be glad in the Lord always! Again I say, be glad! Let your gentleness show in your treatment of all people. The Lord is near. Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus. From now on, brothers and sisters, if anything is excellent and if anything is admirable, focus your thoughts on these things: all that is true, all that is holy, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is lovely, and all that is worthy of praise. Practice these things: whatever you learned, received, heard, or saw in us. The God of peace will be with you. I was very glad in the Lord because now at last you have shown concern for me again. (Of course you were always concerned but had no way to show it.) I’m not saying this because I need anything, for I have learned how to be content in any circumstance. I know the experience of being in need and of having more than enough; I have learned the secret to being content in any and every circumstance, whether full or hungry or whether having plenty or being poor. I can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives me strength. Still, you have done well to share my distress. You Philippians know from the time of my first mission work in Macedonia how no church shared in supporting my ministry except you. You sent contributions repeatedly to take care of my needs even while I was in Thessalonica. ' - Philippians 4:4-16
'The end of everything has come. Therefore, be self-controlled and clearheaded so you can pray. Above all, show sincere love to each other, because love brings about the forgiveness of many sins. Open your homes to each other without complaining. And serve each other according to the gift each person has received, as good managers of God’s diverse gifts. Whoever speaks should do so as those who speak God’s word. Whoever serves should do so from the strength that God furnishes. Do this so that in everything God may be honored through Jesus Christ. To him be honor and power forever and always. Amen. ' - 1 Peter 4:7-11
THE LORD IS NEAR
Oh, Lord, who are the ones who shall stand in your presence
'The earth is the LORD’s and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants too. Because God is the one who established it on the seas; God set it firmly on the waters. Who can ascend the LORD’s mountain? Who can stand in his holy sanctuary? Only the one with clean hands and a pure heart; the one who hasn’t made false promises, the one who hasn’t sworn dishonestly. That kind of person receives blessings from the LORD and righteousness from the God who saves. And that’s how things are with the generation that seeks him— that seeks the face of Jacob’s God. Selah ' - Psalms 24:1-6
'Who can live in your tent, LORD? Who can dwell on your holy mountain? The person who lives free of blame, does what is right, and speaks the truth sincerely; who does no damage with their talk, does no harm to a friend, doesn’t insult a neighbor; someone who despises those who act wickedly, but who honors those who honor the LORD; someone who keeps their promise even when it hurts; someone who doesn’t lend money with interest, who won’t accept a bribe against any innocent person. Whoever does these things will never stumble.' - Psalms 15:1-5
'I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the LORD; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope. When you call me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you search for me, yes, search for me with all your heart, you will find me. I will be present for you, declares the LORD, and I will end your captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have scattered you, and I will bring you home after your long exile, declares the LORD. ' - Jeremiah 29:11-14
Here's a tip: don't ask God to bless you if you're not willing to bless others. Keep it safe. Stop being addicted to blessings. Choose love. Grow up to be a mature brother or sister in Christ.
'Some people brought children to Jesus so that he would place his hands on them and pray. But the disciples scolded them. “Allow the children to come to me,” Jesus said. “Don’t forbid them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people like these children.” Then he blessed the children and went away from there. ' - Matthew 19:13-15
If you are not willing to grow up, you belong in Heaven. Heaven is where you need to go... as soon as possible.
